As a UX designer, I’m a firm believer in innovation. The user’s needs and comforts are always at the forefront of my work. But I’m not afraid to innovate and shake up the established order in pursuit of crafting a newer, better experience.

A little background

When I started my undergrad in Computer engineering, I wouldn’t have imagined getting into user experience. It was when I took the human-computer interaction course in my final year, that I found my calling and started creating applications with a human-centred design approach. The course helped me shift my mindset from "if it works for me, it works for everybody" to "assumptions can lead to exclusion" and inspired me to explore a career in User Experience. After working for startups and small businesses, I felt that I needed to expand my understanding of the field and inclusive design and decided to pursue a Master's in User Experience Design at the University of Toronto.
In my free time, I like to read books, draw (or at least try to as I am still learning) and cook!
